MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Russia has already exported agricultural products totaling $28 billion this year, Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev said on Wednesday at a joint meeting of the State Duma committees on oversight and agrarian issues, during which the participating parties considered the National Report on implementing the government's agricultural development program.

"We have already exported agricultural products totaling $28 billion as of today, which is nearly 25% higher than in the same period last year. We expect that Russia will reconfirm its status as a net exporter of foodstuffs at the end of the year," Patrushev said.

Russian agricultural exports totaled $41.6 billion in 2022. The Agriculture Ministry is expecting at least $42 billion in 2023.
