Russian gas supplies to Turkey exceed 10 bcm in Jan-August 2023

SOCHI. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Russian gas supplies to Turkey exceeded 10 billion cubic meters in January-August 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a press conference following talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Our countries are cooperating closely in the gas sector. Russia supplied 21.5 bcm of gas to Turkey via the TurkStream and Blue Stream gas pipelines last year, and over 10 bcm in January-August of this year," Putin said.
