Ukrainian govt approves attracting tranche for sustainable governance from IBRD, IDA

MOSCOW. Sept 1 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has approved attracting another tranche from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA) in the amount of $1.25 billion to ensure sustainable governance in Ukraine.

A relevant decision was made at a meeting of the government on Friday, Ukrainian media outlets said, citing the government's representative at the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

The decision approved attracting the third grant for the budgetary support from IBRD and IDA, acting as administrators of a multi-donor trust fund co-financing the Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE) project, as part of the fifth additional funding of the PEACE project.
