Cuba allows meat and dairy products from nine more Russian producers - Rosselkhoznadzor

MOSCOW. Aug 28 (Interfax) - Cuba will allow shipments of meat and dairy products from nine additional Russian producers, Rosselkhoznadzor reports.

Cuba made the decision following inspections of potential suppliers conducted from June 19-30. As a result, three pig-breeding companies, two dairy producers, one poultry meat producer, a beef producer and two producers of finished products received permission to enter the Cuban market.

In addition, the accreditation of previously certified companies was extended for two years. In total, 23 Russian enterprises may now supply products to the Cuban market. Pork can be exported by seven companies, finished meat products by five, poultry by four, dairy products by four, beef by two and canned fish by one.
