Ukrainian authorities fully finance all public expenditures in 7 months of 2023 - premier

MOSCOW. Aug 25 (Interfax) - The authorities of Ukraine have fully financed all public expenditures in the seven months of 2023, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.

"We have fully financed all public expenditures in the seven months of this year, 1.6 trillion hryvni is an extraordinary amount, over a half of which was allocated to the security and defense needs," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Shmygal as saying at a meeting of the government on Friday.

Thanks to constant work with partners, nearly $30 billion have already been raised in support to Ukraine since the beginning of the year, he said.
