Putin's trip to India for G20 summit not on agenda - Peskov

MOSCOW. Aug 25 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is not planning to attend the G20 summit in India in person, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"No, the president does not have such plans," Peskov told reporters, adding that he was referring to the president's attendance of the summit in person.

"There is no such trip on the current agenda," he said.

"You know that the president has taken part in BRICS events online. He really has a busy schedule. The emphasis is on the special military operation," Peskov said.

Reporters asked whether Putin might attend the G20 summit online.

"The format is being clarified," Peskov replied.
