Crew Dragon launch with Russian cosmonaut onboard shifted to Aug 26 - Roscosmos

MOSCOW. Aug 25 (Interfax) - The launch of the Crew Dragon spacecraft with Russian cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov as member of the crew, initially set for Friday, has been rescheduled to August 26, Roscosmos said, citing information from NASA.

"The launch of the Crew Dragon on a Falcon 9 rocket from NASA's Kennedy Space Center is now set for 10:27 a.m. Moscow time on August 26," a report published on Roscosmos' Telegram channel said.

As reported earlier, Space X's Crew Dragon reusable spacecraft with three astronauts and a Roscosmos cosmonaut on board was initially expected to launch to the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday.

The Crew-7 international mission consists of NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, European Space Agency astronaut Andreas Mogensen of Denmark, Jaxa Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, and Russia's Konstantin Borisov.

The Crew Dragon is scheduled to dock with the ISS on August 27, NASA said on Friday.
