Ukrainian govt initiates renunciation of agreements with Russia, within CIS on medical care, HIV issues, readmission

MOSCOW. Aug 24 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government proposes to the Verkhovna Rada to terminate a number of agreements with Russia and within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on medical care, HIV problems, promotion of goods and services, as well as readmission.

The Ukrainian government has submitted to the parliament the bills on withdrawal from the agreement on the provision of medical assistance to citizens of CIS member states, on withdrawal from the agreement on cooperation in solving the problems of HIV infection, on termination of the agreement between the Ukrainian government and the Russian government on cooperation in preventing the spread of the disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV infection), on withdrawal from the agreement on cooperation between CIS member states in creating, using and developing an interstate network of information and marketing centers to promote goods and services on their domestic markets, and the bill on suspension of the agreement between the Ukrainian government and the Russian government on readmission, Ukrainian media reported, citing the government's order.
