Yevgeny Prigozhin, Dmitry Utkin were aboard plane crashed near Tver - Rosaviatsiya

MOSCOW. Aug 24 (Interfax) - People with the names Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin were on the list of passengers on board the business jet that crashed in the Tver region, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) said on its Telegram channel.

"The data from the air carrier indicates that there were the following passengers aboard the Embraer-135 (EBM-135BJ) plane: Propustin Sergey, Makaryan Evgeniy, Totmin Aleksandr, Chekalov Valeriy, Utkin Dmitriy, Matuseev Nikolay, Prigozhin Evgeniy"," Rosaviatsiya said.

The business jet had a crew of three.

"The crew are Levshin Aleksei, commander, Karimov Rustam, co-pilot, Raspopova Kristina, flight attendant," it said.

The Embraer-135 (EBM-135BJ) performed its flight "in line with a permit for the use of airspace issued in accordance with the established procedure."

An Embraer Legacy private plane crashed near the village of Kuzhenkino in the Tver region, the press service for the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said on Wednesday evening. All ten people aboard died. The private jet was flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg.

A commission of Rosaviatsiya is investigating the incident. The plane's owner is MNT Aero specializing in business flights, the agency said.

MNT Aero was registered in Moscow in 2006. As of September 2022, the company's sole owner was its general director Olga Gubareva. BAe 125-800 and Hawker 800XP corporate jets are on MNT Aero's air operator certificate along with the Embraer-135, according to Rosaviatsiya documents. All three aircraft are subject to U.S. blocking sanctions.
