Erdogan may meet Putin in September - media

ISTANBUL. Aug 21 (Interfax) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said he may meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in person in September to discuss the Black Sea grain deal, Anadolu Agency reported on Monday.

"Turkish President Erdogan said he may meet with Putin face-to-face to discuss the Black Sea grain deal, if the leaders have time for this during a busy September," it said.

Erdogan said Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan may visit Russia for negotiations soon, it said.

Erdogan also suggested that Russia and Ukraine could hold peace talks if their leaders agree to Turkey's mediation, it said.
