Ukrgazvydobuvannya pays 13.88 bln gas rent to budget in 8M

MOSCOW. Aug 21 (Interfax) - Ukrgazvydobuvannya (UGV) will pay UAH 23.88 billion in gas rent to the consolidated budget for January-August 2023.

"Of this amount, 5% or UAH 639.9 million will go into local and regional budgets in the 11 regions where the company produces hydrocarbons," Ukrainian media quoted a company press release as saying.

In particular, UAH 336.9 million will be paid to the Kharkov region, UAH 292.21 million to the Poltava region, UAH 31.8 million to the Lvov region, UAH 18.38 million to the Dnepropetrovsk region, and UAH 14.62 million to other regions.

"We recall that rent is based on the sale price of Ukrgazvydobuvannya's natural gas in favor of Naftogaz Ukraine," the company said.
