Ukrainian FM on his possible resignation: No one can stay in any position forever

MOSCOW. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said, when commenting on rumors about his possible resignation, that he is working, but no one can serve in any position forever.

"I was appointed in March 2020, but they began to dismiss me in October," Ukrainian media quoted Kuleba as saying on the Snidanok with 1+1 show.

"If someone spreads rumors, this means someone needs this," he said.

"I am working. No position is timeless, and I am entirely calm about everything. I first said that I will go under two circumstances: if the president asks me to leave, the second is if I am in some fundamental contradiction with the foreign policy and I will not deem it possible to work with this," Kuleba said.

Earlier in August, the media reported Kuleba's possible resignation.
