Zelensky signs laws on extending martial law, mobilization
MOSCOW. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has signed into law bills on extending martial law and general mobilization.
The relevant documents signed by the president were returned to the Verkhovna Rada on August 17, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the Rada's website.
As reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada on July 27 extended martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days from August 18, 2023 to November 15, 2023.
Ukraine imposed martial law on February 24, 2022 and declared general mobilization on February 25, 2022.
