Kazakhstan's int'l reserves grew 0.1% to $94.4 bln in July
ALMATY. Aug 9 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's international reserves, including gross reserves of the National Bank and the assets of the National Fund, were $94.385 billion as at July 31, an increase of 0.1% from the previous month and up 4.6% from the beginning of this year, the National Bank said.
The assets of the National Fund were $60.202 billion, up 0.68% from June 2023 and up 8% from January 1.
The gross international reserves of the National Bank were $34.183 billion on July 31, a decline of 0.8% from the previous month and down 2.6% from the beginning of the year. The net international reserves of the National Bank were $32.22 billion, up 0.1% and down 2.4%, respectively.
Forex assets decreased in July by 3.63% to $14.714 billion compared with the June but increased by 0.9% from the beginning of the year. Gold assets stood at $19.469 billion as at July 31, up 1.5% and down 5%, respectively.
