Naftogaz paid more than UAH 48 bln taxes in 7M

MOSCOW. Aug 9 (Interfax) - the Naftogaz Group paid more than UAH 48 billion in taxes for January-July 2024, Ukrainian media reported, citing a company press release.

This was 12% of the state budget's entire tax revenue.

"Our priority is to work for our state's financial stability and energy independence. We are not stopping at that - there is more to come," said Alexei Chernyshov, the head of Naftogaz.

The company recalled that it obtained the consent of investors to restructure its Eurobonds maturing in July 2022 and November 2026 on July 28. More than 85% of Eurobond holders officially backed the company's proposal.
