Russian Customs increases transfers to budget in July 13.4%, after reduction of 14.7% in January-July

MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Customs Service transferred 3.303 trillion rubles to the federal budget in January-July 2023, which is 14.7% less than the 3.873 trillion rubles from the same period in 2022.

In July 2023 the customs authorities transferred 435.9 billion rubles to the federal budget, which is 13.4% more than a year earlier (384.4 billion rubles), based on data from Customs published on Tuesday.

As reported, in June 2023, the Customs Service transferred 541.7 billion rubles to the budget (39.5% more than in June 2022); in May, 545 billion rubles (an increase of 1.8% compared to May 2022); in April , 491.6 billion rubles (15.5% less than in April 2022); in March, 506.0 billion rubles (28.1% less than March 2022); in February, 404.8 billion rubles (44.5% less than February 2022), and in January 2023, 377.3 billion rubles were transferred (31.3% less than January 2022).

In 2022, Customs transferred 6.2 trillion rubles to the federal budget against 7.156 trillion rubles in 2021, a decrease of nearly 13.4%.
