Ukrainian govt proposes terminating more agreements with Russia

MOSCOW. Aug 8 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government proposed at its meeting on Tuesday that the Verkhovna Rada terminate an agreement on international automobile traffic between the Ukrainian and the Russian government, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the government's representative to the Rada Taras Melnichuk.

In particular, the government approved a bill on terminating the agreement between the Ukrainian and the Russian government on international automobile traffic and a protocol on applying the agreement between the Ukrainian and the Russian government on international automobile traffic, which were signed in Kiev on March 20, 1995.

At the same time, the government has terminated the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Russia on cooperation in the field of industrial property protection, Ukrainian media quoted Melnichuk as saying.

The relevant decision was also made at a government meeting on Tuesday.

In particular, the agreement on cooperation in the field of industrial property protection signed between the Ukrainian and Russian governments in Kiev on June 30, 1993, has been terminated.
