Crew Dragon-7 mission to ISS with Russian cosmonaut Borisov shifted to Aug 25 - NASA

WASHINGTON. Aug 4 (Interfax) - The launch of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft with Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov onboard to the International Space Station (ISS) has been shifted from August 21 to 25 to finalize prelaunch preparations, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said.

"The target launch date for NASA's SpaceX Crew-7 mission to the International Space Station now is 3:49 a.m. EDT on Friday, August 25," the NASA website said.

The docking with the ISS is scheduled for 2:45 a.m. EDT on August 26.

The backup launch dates are August 26 and 27.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is due to take off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA said.

Borisov will fly to the ISS together with NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Andreas Mogensen (Denmark), and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa.

Roscosmos and NASA signed an agreement in July 2022 on cross-flights of three Russian cosmonauts by U.S. Crew Dragon spaceships and three U.S. astronauts by Russian Soyuz MS spaceships in 2022-24.
