Ukrainian govt considering possible insurance of ships moving along grain corridor - PM

MOSCOW. Aug 3 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government is considering the possible insurance of ships and companies that will go along the grain corridor, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.

"Ukraine, as a state, by the government's decision insured all merchant vessels that export and import goods via the Danube ports using the budget funds. In the government we are now discussing and, I am sure, will make a decision to insure ships and relevant companies that will go along the grain corridor," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying at a conference of Ukrainian ambassadors in Uzhgorod on Thursday.

The possible assumption of such risks by the authorities in the Black Sea is being discussed at this point, he said.
