All systems of ISS Russian segment working normally - Roscosmos

MOSCOW. Aug 1 (Interfax) - The Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS) is working normally, the Roscosmos press service told Interfax.

"All instruments and systems of the ISS Russian segment are working normally," the press service said.

Astronauts told the U.S. mission control center earlier on Tuesday that the ISS U.S. segment had suffered a power failure.

According to NASA, the power failure has caused problems in communication with the Earth yet there is no risk to the crew. Specialists recommended that an astronaut go to the Russian segment and check its modules for smoke or fire.
