Russia, Ethiopia to consider construction of low- or high-capacity NPP

MOSCOW. July 28 (Interfax) - Russia and Ethiopia will consider the possible construction of a low- or high-capacity nuclear power plant in that African country, Russia's Rosatom state atomic energy corporation said after signing a relevant roadmap within the framework of the Russia-Africa summit.

The document determines specific steps the parties are to take in 2023-2025 to explore the possible construction of an NPP and a nuclear science and technology center in Ethiopia.
