Zelensky proposes extending martial law, general mobilization in Ukraine

MOSCOW. July 27 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has asked the Verkhovna Rada to endorse his bills extending martial law and general mobilization in the country.

The corresponding draft legislation was registered in the Ukrainian parliament on Wednesday, Ukrainian media said, citing the Verkhovna Rada website.

The bills themselves have not yet been published on the parliament's website.
