China's Chengdu Airlines to resume direct flights from Harbin to Vladivostok
VLADIVOSTOK. July 26 (Interfax) - China's Chengdu Airlines on Friday will resume direct flights along the Harbin-Vladivostok-Harbin route, which had halted operations during the pandemic, according to the Vladivostok International Airport schedule.
Flights will operate twice per week on Comac ARJ21 aircraft.
Chengdu Airlines started flights along the route in 2019, though it curtailed the program during the pandemic in 2020.
Russia's Aurora Airlines currently operates flights along the Vladivostok-Harbin-Vladivostok route once per week on Airbus 319 aircraft.
As previously reported, Vladivostok Airport handled over 1.08 million passengers in January-June 2023, a rise of 29% year-on-year, including 84,000 passengers served on international airlines.
