Russia-U.S. channel for prisoner exchanges remains, contacts to continue at appropriate time - Ryabkov

MOSCOW. July 21 (Interfax) - The Russian-U.S. channel for prisoner exchanges still exists, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday.

These contacts will continue at an appropriate time, he said.

"I don't know of any recent contacts on this matter, but the channel still exists and these contacts will continue at an appropriate time," he told reporters on the sidelines of the annual meeting between the trustees of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund.
