Zelensky meets with USAID administrator in Kiev

MOSCOW. July 20 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky met with Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power in Kiev on Wednesday.

"Ukraine values active cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development. Today I met with USAID Administrator Samantha Power. We discussed further support for Ukraine, our people and our economy," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Zelensky as saying on social media.

He emphasized the importance of the financial and humanitarian assistance extended to Ukraine via USAID and thanked the agency for its contribution to food security and for its recent initiatives and decisions to provide additional support for small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine.
