Shmygal, Varadkar discuss role of Irish business in Ukraine's recovery

MOSCOW. July 20 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal and Prime Minister of Ireland Leo Varadkar discussed how Irish business could contribute to Ukraine's recovery at a meeting in Kiev, Ukrainian media said, citing Shmygal's press service.

"The parties discussed Ukraine's recovery and the role of Irish business in this process. Denis Shmygal said that Ukraine would provide all the necessary investment support. As an example, he referred to Irish company Kingspan, which is investing 280 million euros in its project in Ukraine, and CRH with investments of 25 million euros," the press service said on Wednesday.

Varadkar, for his part, said that Ireland stood by Ukraine and would continue to provide full support, "including at the level of international institutions."
