Ukrainian PM discusses Ukrainian agricultural exports with von der Leyen

MOSCOW. July 20 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal has discussed exports of Ukrainian agricultural produce with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

"Productive conversation with Ursula von der Leyen about facilitating Ukrainian agricultural exports. Agreed to simplify procedures, develop new border crossing points and transport routes," Ukrainian media cited Shmygal as saying on his social account.

In addition, Ukraine and the European Commission "coordinated the preparation of the new UkraineFacility instrument for economic development and recovery," he said.

Von der Leyen also wrote on her social account, "We will work together to support bringing Ukrainian agrifoods to world markets."
