Former Baltika head Bolloev appointed president of brewing company - Russian brewers union

MOSCOW. July 19 (Interfax) - Taimuraz Bolloev has been appointed president of Baltika Brewing Company LLC, the Union of Russian Brewers posted on social media.

The Unified State Registry of Legal Entities (USRLE) does not currently reflect the changes in management.

Baltika's press service in turn confirmed the information to Interfax.

Bolloev was president of Baltika for 13 years until 2004.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on July 16, which was subsequently published on the government's official internet portal of legal information, regarding the transfer of 100% of Baltika Brewing Company LLC to the temporary administration of the Federal Property Management Agency (Rosimuschestvo).

According to the decree, 100% of Baltika was transferred to Rosimuschestvo, including 98.56% owned by Carlsberg's Swedish legal entity, 0.09% owned by Carlsberg's German legal entity, and 1.35% owned by Hoppy Union LLC.

Carlsberg Group, which announced in March 2022 its plans to exit the Russian market, reported previously that it had signed an agreement to sell the Russian business, though the concern did not name the future owner of Baltika.
