EEC extends antidumping duty on polymer-coated steel from China

MOSCOW. July 19 (Interfax) - The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has decided to extend the antidumping duty on imports of polymer-coated rolled steel products from China into the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for another five years, the EEC's foreign trade department reported.

The duty, imposed in 2012, has been extended repeatedly. The duty rates now range from 6.98% to 20.2% of the customs value, depending on the producer.

The latest extension was called for by the Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) , MMK-Lysvensky Steel Plant, Severstal and Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK).
