All Kazakhstani oil refineries operating normally after maintenance - KMG
ASTANA. July 18 (Interfax) - Maintenance procedures at Kazakhstan's oil refineries have been completed; all refineries have resumed normal operations, Dmitry Makeyev, the deputy chairman of the management board at State Company KazMunayGas, said.
"The Atyrau refinery has fully restored production after the power outage on July 3. All [production] parameters have been stabilized, and the refinery is now operating at design capacity. Repairs at the Pavlodar refinery were completed two days ahead of schedule, and the units are being restarted one by one to reach their capacities," Makeyev said.
At the Shymkent refinery, the heat exchange has been repaired. "The unit has been restarted, and all production parameters are now being stabilized," Makeyev said.
Production of gasoline at all Kazakhstani oil refineries reached 2.6 million tonnes in H1, he said.
"With a plan of about 2.4 million, we actually produced 2.6 million tonnes. This is 107% of the plan which was approved by the Energy Ministry. Along with AI-92 gasoline, with a plan of 417,000 tonnes, 449,000 tonnes were produced," he said.
Jet fuel was produced in the amount of 303,000 tonnes, as well as 2.7 million tonnes of diesel fuel.
"Today, we have the following reserves: 280,000 tonnes of AI-92 gasoline, or 24 days of consumption, 50,000 tonnes of AI-95, or 19 days of consumption, 430,000 tonnes of diesel, which is 26 days of consumption, and about 80,000 tonnes of aviation kerosene, or 42 days of consumption. Today there are comfortable stock balances," Makeyev said.
