Russia officially notifies Turkey, Ukraine, UN of its objection to grain deal extension - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. July 17 (Interfax) - Russia has sent its official objections to extending the Black Sea grain deal to Ankara, Kiev, and the United Nations, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"Russia today officially notified the Turkish and Ukrainian sides, as well as the UN Secretariat, of its objection to extending the deal," Zakharova said.

"The Russian Foreign Ministry will publish a statement with a detailed clarification of Russia's position in the near future," she said.
