Russia gathering documentation to challenge IOC's decision not to invite country to Olympics - Deputy PM Chernyshenko

MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax) - Russia is collecting the required documentation to be able to challenge the International Olympic Committee (IOC)'s decisions in court, including those related to the lack of an invitation to the 2024 Summer Olympics, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said.

"We are gathering all the required documentation wherever we can, so that later, [and] time will judge us, it will be possible to present it in court," Chernyshenko told reporters when asked whether Russia would challenge the IOC's decision not to send the country an invitation to participate in the 2024 Olympics.
