Kazakhstan's international reserves fell 0.4% to $94.2 bln in June

ALMATY. July 12 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's international reserves, including gross reserves of the National Bank and the assets of the National Fund, stood at $94.247 billion on June 30, down 0.4% from the previous month and down 3.8% from the beginning of this year, the National Bank said.

The assets of the National Fund stood at $59.794 billion at the end of June, up 0.97% from May and an increase of 7.27% from January 1, 2023.

The gross international reserves of the National Bank stood at $34.453 billion on June 30, a drop of 2.8% from the previous month and down 1.7% from beginning of the year. The net international reserves of the National Bank were $32.185 billion tenge, down 3.92% and 2.49%, respectively.

Forex assets declined in June by 1.57% to $15.265 billion tenge, but an increase of 4.66% from the beginning of the year. Gold assets were $19.188 billion tenge on June 30, a decrease of 3.8% and 6.36%, respectively.
