Moscow to provide United Aircraft Corporation with site to manufacture MS-21 aircraft components

YEKATERINBURG. July 10 (Interfax) - Deputy Prime Minister and Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, and United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) General Director Yuri Slyusar, as part of the Innoprom forum in Yekaterinburg, have respectively signed the agreement on cooperation to develop the domestic aviation industry within the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone (SEZ).

The mayor's office said in materials that the agreement stipulates that the Moscow City government will provide a site on the territory of the Rudnevo industrial park for establishing the production of components for the new-generation MS-21 medium-range aircraft.

Eighteen manufacturing facilities have currently been constructed at Rudnevo. The Federal Center for unmanned aerial systems, aircraft manufacturing, radio electronics, and other industries have their manufacturing enterprises located on the territory of the industrial park.
