Ukrainian Border Service updates border crossing data

MOSCOW. July 10 (Interfax) - About 14,000 more people crossed into Ukraine than departed it during the first week of July, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the State Border Service's information available on social media.

The number of people who departed Ukraine in this period increased to 355,000 from 337,000, and the number of those who entered the country increased to 369,000 from 336,000, the service said.

The number of automobiles that crossed Ukraine's western borders in this period declined to 138,000 from 139,000 a week before, while the number of vehicles cleared to carry humanitarian aid increased to 650 from 457.

According to the United Nations Refugee Agency, the number of Ukrainian refugees around the world was estimated as of June 26 at 6.342 million, including 5.978 million in Europe.
