Ukraine to withdraw from Advisory Council of Heads of CIS Archive Services

MOSCOW. July 5 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government plans a withdrawal from the Advisory Council of Heads of State Archive Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The government made the decision at a meeting on Tuesday, Ukrainian media said with the reference to Ukrainian Government Representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

A resolution of the CIS Economic Council, "On the Establishment of the Advisory Council of Heads of State Archive Services of the CIS Members," was signed in Moscow on December 3, 2004.
