DTEK completes repairs of 7 of 27 thermal power units in preparing for autumn-winter season in Ukraine

MOSCOW. July 4 (Interfax) - The DTEK power company has completed the repairs and maintenance of seven units of its thermal power plants as part of its plans to repair 27 units by the end of the year in preparing for the 2023-2024 autumn and winter season.

Seven other units are undergoing repairs and maintenance at the moment, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the company's statement.

Thus far, DTEK has invested 1.5 billion hryvni in its repairs and maintenance campaign in 2023.

As reported earlier, DTEK had completed the repairs of four of its thermal power units by early June, or 15% of all units it planned to repair in preparing for the 2023-2024 autumn and winter period.

DTEK requires nearly 7 billion hryvni to repair the equipment of its thermal power plants.
