UNDP donates another batch of generators to Ukraine

MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has handed over 430 power generators purchased with funds from the Japanese government to residents of the Kiev-controlled part of the Kherson region affected by the Kakhovka Hydropower Plant dam's destruction, the Ukrainian media reported, citing the press service for the Ukrainian Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development.

In June, the UNDP has already donated 42 generators to Ukraine. In addition, the UNDP is planning to deliver over 1,000 more generators this year, the ministry said.
