Rada supports Ukraine's withdrawal from CIS agreement on support for families of servicemen who died in Afghanistan

MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada has voted in favor of Ukraine's withdrawal from an agreement between the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries on state social support for families of military service members who died in combat in Afghanistan and other countries, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the Rada website.

The agreement was signed between the CIS member states in Moscow on September 24, 1993.
