Zelensky backs legalizing cannabis-based medicines in Ukraine

MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has spoken in favor of legalizing cannabis-based medicines.

"We should finally honestly legalize cannabis-based medicines for everyone who needs it, with the relevant scientific research and controlled Ukrainian manufacturing," Ukrainian media quoted Zelensky as saying in the Ukrainian parliament on Wednesday.
