U.S. supports Armenia, Azerbaijan working together toward enduring peace - Blinken

BAKU. June 28 (Interfax) - The United States supports Azerbaijan and Armenia working together toward a durable peace agreement, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.

"Hosting peace talks this week with Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Bayramov Jeyhun. We support Armenia and Azerbaijan working together toward a durable and dignified agreement. Dialogue is key to lasting peace," Blinken said on a social network.

Another round of talks between the Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers began in the U.S. on Tuesday to discuss a peace agreement and normalization of bilateral relations. The negotiations will last until June 29.
