Aquarius launches serial production of Android 11 tablet computers

VORONEZH. June 23 (Interfax) - Russian computer manufacturer Aquarius is launching serial production of the Aquarius Cmp NS220RE tablet computer, the company said.

The new tablet is 9 mm thick and its screen is up to 10.5 inches.

The device currently runs on the proprietary Android 11 operating system, but in the near future it will be converted to the local Aurora operating system.

It has an 8-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, expandable by 1 TB with a microSD. It uses Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 5.0 for wireless data transmission.

The tablet supports 4G LTE and has two cameras with autofocus for photos and videos, as well as video conferencing. It weighs 540 grams and battery life is up to 10 hours.

The company plans a number of accessories, including a dock and keyboard.

Aquarius is Russia's biggest manufacturer of computer hardware, including servers, personal computers, laptops, tablets, PDAs and printers. Its production sites are located in the Ivanovo and Tver regions.
