Ukraine forming business coalition for investing in its recovery - premier

MOSCOW. June 23 (Interfax) - Ukraine is forming a business coalition for investments in its recovery, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.

"Ukraine is forming a coalition of businesses to invest in recovery, which will complement intergovernmental partnerships, provide the necessary resources, and bring long-term benefits to entrepreneurs," Ukrainian media outlets cited the government's press service as saying with a reference to Shmygal following a meeting with members of the international business community in London.

In all sectors, Ukraine could offer undeniable advantages, including convenient logistics, highly skilled workers, extensive infrastructure, and the proximity of production to the market, for every investor, he said.

The architecture for insuring military and political risks is being created, the Ukrainian premier said.

"Rebuilding Ukraine is about more than business and economy. The quality of life and safety of people in all parts of Europe and around the world will depend on how we restore our fields and our factories, our cities and our villages, our power plants and our water reservoirs. So I call on the global business to be part of the unprecedented project of reviving our country," Shmygal said.
