Kizim dismissed as Ukrainian ambassador to Belarus
MINSK. June 22 (Interfax) - Igor Kizim has been dismissed as Ukraine's ambassador to Belarus, Belarusian media reported, citing the Ukrainian president's decree published on his website.
The reasons for his dismissal are not given. The decree also contains no information on the appointment of any other person to the position.
Kizim served as Ukraine's ambassador to Belarus since February 20, 2017. In April 2023, Ukrainian authorities summoned him for consultations because of a meeting between Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and acting head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin.
