Ukrainian PM thanks King Charles III for organizing Ukraine conference in London

MOSCOW. June 21 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal thanked King Charles III for his personal involvement in arranging the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2023) in London on June 21-22, adding that hopefully, with the king's support, Ukraine will be able to raise the necessary funds for this process.

"I thanked the UK for organizing the URC2023 and His Majesty for his personal engagement in the process, which underlines the importance of the reconstruction. We expect that with the assistance and support of King Charles III, we will manage to attract the necessary resources for the restoration and development of Ukraine," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Shmygal as saying in a social media post early on Wednesday morning.
