KazMunayGas, Rosneft Deutschland sign agreement on supplying 100,000 tonnes of oil per month to Germany until end of 2023

ASTANA. June 20 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas and Rosneft Deutschland, controlled by the German government, have signed an agreement on supplying oil to the PCK Raffinerie oil refinery in Schwedt, Germany, KazMunayGas's press service said in a statement.

The seller of the oil is a KazMunayGas subsidiary, KazMunayGas Trading AG, and the buyer is Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, one of the shareholders in the PCK Raffinerie refinery.

"Today, we signed a contract for supplying 100,000 tonnes of oil per month until the end of the year. On behalf of KazMunayGas, I would like to express the interest of the Kazakh side in continuing and increasing oil supplies to Germany, and to thank our partners for fruitful cooperation in the matter," Magzum Mirzagaliyev, chairman of KazMunayGas's executive board, noted during the signing of the document, as quoted by the press service.

Supplies will be carried out at this volume until the end of 2023 from the resources of the Karachaganak field.
