Ukraine receives 63 mln euros from WB for salaries of public officials, teachers

MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - Ukraine received a 63-million-euro loan from the World Bank (WB) on Monday, Ukrainian media reported, citing the Ukrainian Finance Ministry.

The loan will mature within 10 years and has a grace period of four years. The funds will be used for partial reimbursement of expenses on salaries of public officials and teachers for February and March 2023.

The funds were provided by the International Development Association (IDA, part of the World Bank Group) on preferential terms as part of the WB project "Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance in Ukraine (PEACE)".
