Blinken announces another $205 mln in humanitarian assistance for Ukraine

WASHINGTON. June 16 (Interfax) - The United States has provided another $205 million in humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Friday.

"The United States is providing $205 million in additional humanitarian assistance for the people of Ukraine," Blinken said in a statement.

The aid package "provides the people of Ukraine with [...] food, safe drinking water, protection services, education, livelihoods, legal assistance, accessible shelter, health care," the statement says.

Since February 2022, the U.S. has provided Ukraine with more than $2.1 billion in humanitarian aid. The volume of aid for Kiev has exceeded $605 million in 2023.
