Rosatom CEO expects IAEA's Grossi to visit Moscow next week, no date set yet
ST. PETERSBURG. June 16 (Interfax) - International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi is expected to visit Moscow next week, although the exact date has not been determined, Rosatom CEO Alexei Likhachev told journalists on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday.
"[It will happen] next week, the only question is on what day," Likhachev said.
Likhachev said on Thursday that he was looking forward to in-person consultations with Grossi.
An IAEA delegation led by Grossi visited the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant on Thursday. This was his third visit to the site over the past year. Since September 1, 2022, several IAEA specialists have been present at the plant on a rotational basis. The latest rotation took place during Thursday's visit, when four IAEA inspectors were replaced by two others.
