Aeroflot planning to launch flights to Bali and resume flights to Hong Kong

ST. PETERSBURG. June 16 (Interfax) - Aeroflot is planning to start flying to Bali in the fall, the company's General Director, Sergei Alexandrovsky said.

"We are planning to fly to Denpasar on Bali. We are working with aviation authorities. Flights to Bali will start in the fall, September-October," Alexandrovsky told journalists at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2023.

"And one more destination we are planning for is Hong Kong," he said.

Soon, the company is also planning to open additional routes to various cities in China from Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Vladivostok as well. The company's website currently shows regular Aeroflot flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

"We are going to expand our China program, but we will do so slowly. We are waiting for the "visa-free" plan to start and passenger traffic to increase," Alexandrovsky said.

The company also would "not exclude" the possibility of signing codesharing and interline agreements with "one of the South American airlines," he said.
